We found out that Daddy won't be coming home until August. I took it a little harder than anyone else did in the house, of course. I'm glad that Bailey has no idea what is going on but it still doesn't take away any of the pain knowing that he's going to miss these next six months and all the milestones that come with her getting older. I guess it's time to charge the video camera, camera and get ready to record our everyday activities. I'm just really praying six months goes by as fast as it possibly can. I don't know when I'm going to get over this whole "being upset thing" but we were in the mindset of August being our countdown before... We can do it again. Our love is stronger than any deployment. I'm going to really push myself to be faithful about posting on Blogger every day and posting some pictures to my FaceBook for the next six months. So here it goes.

Today was really hard for me. I honestly slept most of the day. I got up to feed the baby and change her and then slept the rest of the time. Which, I know, is totally unfair for her. But I'm making sure tomorrow and everyday after that is better for her. At 8 o'clock PM, she got her bath, her bottle and we listened to the book that Daddy recorded for her when he was on R&R in October. I'm going to have to get another one of those and ship it to him so he can record it and ship it back to us. I want her to have a little variety of books to listen to. Hopefully we can start Skyping so he can see her and she can see him, too. We'll see though. I know things will get easier when I get back into the mindset I was in three months ago. We're already counting down the days until Daddy comes home in August. We're 50% of the way there.
