Old Chicago

This morning was amazing...  Bailey let us sleep in until 8:30/9am... which made me happy. We did the usual baby-routine then Derek and I played Army of Two (an Xbox 360 game) and we finally beat it. I guess it didn't take us THAT long considering we've only played it a handful of times.

Around dinner time I told Derek that I had a surprise for him and we were going to go out to dinner somewhere. We would have went to Blackhorse Pub, but they're closed for renovations, I guess. But I was going to surprise him with Old Chicago. We got there and there was only a ten minute wait. It was great! Shortly after we got our table it started getting really busy. Our waitress was really creepy. I thought she was going to steal Bailey. Buuut... yeah. The food was really good this time. We got fried Mac n' Cheese and it was de-freakin'-licious. Bailey got a little taste of it and she liked it, too.

Bailey was a good girl tonight. We were out pretty late and she didn't get cranky at all. I love how good of a baby she is for her Mommy and Daddy. Once we were done there I really needed Starbucks. So I got a Mocha Coconut Frapp. We made our way down the street to Wal-Mart to go inside for alcohol. LOL. Then we went to look for a damn laser pointer for the cat and it must be impossible to find anywhere because we're having a hard time.

We then got on the freeway to go home and I got really nervous when I realized it's Fourth of July weekend. I was almost positive that the truck in front of us was being operated by a drunk driver. When we got to our exit I was really relieved. We went back on post, went inside and put Bailey to bed. A while ago Derek and I had a water fight and I hurt my hand running behind a door. I'm smart.....

We'll just be relaxing for the next hour before bed. Tomorrow night we'll probably go watch fireworks. We got a little show earlier tonight because people are stupid and set them off.

That's all for tonight.
