Last night, Bailey, Derek and I dyed some eggs. Bailey wasn't aware of what was going on (obviously) so Derek and I did them for her. She seemed tired so we ended up putting her to bed right when we finished the eggs.
Today, we woke up and made the Rose Marina Salad. Bailey woke up shortly after that and we gave her and Bowtie their Easter baskets. Bailey got a bunch of things (like a small blanket, a sippy cup, some books, bowls, Penny the Pig (scentsy buddy) and so on, so forth. Bowtie got snacks, a new toy and a dress. The girls liked their gifts. Then we finished getting things ready and stuff. Holly came over this afternoon to spend Easter night with us. Derek and I made the ham and it turned out nicely. We have a bunch of leftovers, needless to say. We will be eating ham for a year.
Now it's about 7PM and Bailey's in her crib... Fighting sleep. So I'm going to end tonight's blog here and go spank her..... Just kidding, I'm going to give her Nyquil. (I wish!)

Bailey's 1st Easter and dinner. That was nice of Mommy & Daddy to have Holly over. Bailey you look so happy to have a Easter basket, you have been a good girl for the Easter Bunny to come visit you. I bet Daddy really loved the Bunny that came to your house last night, she was a very cute Bunny I saw a picture of her the other day holding you at the Mall. Your friend Bowtie looked happy too. Now Bailey if Mommy spanks you ever get her cell phone and call Meema because Meema will come get you OK? LOL I Love you, I Love Mommy and I Love Daddy. And your bud Bowtie. Love Grandma/Meema
ReplyDeleteThinking about all of you, Stephanie, Derek & the most cutiest baby in the world Bailey and little Bowtie and I Love You so much and miss you A LOT. I don't worry as much now that Derek is home with his 2 best girls and he will make you safe. I want to THANK YOU so much Derek for protecting my Granddaughter & G.Granddaughter, you are the best husband and Daddy any Meema could ask for, but I still miss you all every day and can't help thinking about all of you.
