Tennessee cracks me up...

Today, Derek and I were going to go to WalMart. He got a call this morning from the dealership where we bought our car saying that they got our plate in. So we were going to go there first. When we got there, Derek wasn't inside long. He came out with our new Tennessee plates. I'm sad we don't have the Ohio plates anymore. Oh well.

Anyways. Then we went to the Rural King (Like a Home DePot for rednecks) and it was GREAT. We were looking for an Amish lawnmower. We were walking around and saw a little place with a bunch of baby chickens. A lot of them were dead and I really wanted to pet one..........An alive one, that is. But I'm glad I didn't. It probably had the Bird Flu. We asked someone who worked there if they had reel lawnmowers and in a VERY Southern voice he said "I suuuuurrre don't." It was such a great learning experience.

After we left Rural King, we went to WalMart by our house. It was.. interesting. We didn't find an Amish mower BUT we saw the most disgusting thing in the world. Two Soldiers...with one girl. Yes, with as in they were both probably fucking her. They both were holding her hand and both of them were kissing her. I so wish I could have taken a picture. That chick was DISGUSTING. How can someone have absolutely no self respect? One Soldier? Ok. Who doesn't like a man in uniform (haha) but TWO???? All three of those people were the dirtiest trash in the world.

After that, we came home and set up our new PRINTER and I fell asleep. Derek woke me up like an hour later and we just relaxed around the house. We made Filet Mignon, baked potatoes and pasta for dinner. It was really good. After that, Derek got ready and went to a 24 hour gas station to get Mountain Dew so we can drink tonight. Tomorrow we aren't doing too much, I think. I still need to get pictures of the Cruze to post. Someday I'll get a picture. 

Daddy's Homecoming

Well, I'm a bit late but I got the pictures from Derek's homecoming. I figured I'd add and post them on here now. =) These are a few of my favorites.

It's been a couple of days since I've updated my blog. Nothing much has been going on here. We had a bunch of storms a few days ago. I went to the dentist a few days ago and it was awful trying to get there. Some vehicle pulled out in front of me, then when I was going to make a right hand turn, a truck pulled out into the dirt to cut around me before I got to the turning lane. I honked the horn and was angry. People around here are such terrible drivers.

Well, since then the weather has very much improved. I'm glad and I really hope it stays this way. Derek and I are probably going to get Penelope cleaned soon. I still need to post some pictures of her.

Not much else has happened. I've been trying to catch up on my DVR'd recordings of All My Children. It's heating up. And that's as exciting as my life has been lately.

Easter

Last night, Bailey, Derek and I dyed some eggs. Bailey wasn't aware of what was going on (obviously) so Derek and I did them for her. She seemed tired so we ended up putting her to bed right when we finished the eggs.

Today, we woke up and made the Rose Marina Salad. Bailey woke up shortly after that and we gave her and Bowtie their Easter baskets. Bailey got a bunch of things (like a small blanket, a sippy cup, some books, bowls, Penny the Pig (scentsy buddy) and so on, so forth. Bowtie got snacks, a new toy and a dress. The girls liked their gifts. Then we finished getting things ready and stuff. Holly came over this afternoon to spend Easter night with us. Derek and I made the ham and it turned out nicely. We have a bunch of leftovers, needless to say. We will be eating ham for a year.

Now it's about 7PM and Bailey's in her crib... Fighting sleep. So I'm going to end tonight's blog here and go spank her..... Just kidding, I'm going to give her Nyquil. (I wish!)

Bailey meets the Easter Bunny

We did a couple of things today. Bailey woke up pretty early and wanted a bottle. So she laid in bed with Derek and I, until I put her back in her crib. She let us sleep for another hour or so. It was very thoughtful of us.

I made Derek biscuits and gravy for breakfast. It was pretty good. Too bad I hate sausage. I always eat around the sausage on my biscuits. After that, Bailey took another nap and Derek and I got ready for the rest of our day. We were going to go to Babies R Us and get Bailey a nice Easter dress, then go to the mall for her to meet the Easter Bunny.

We left and got to Babies R Us and there weren't very many dresses there. It was a huge bummer but it was alright because the dress she had on, Derek really liked. So we stuck with what she had on. We got to the mall and it seemed like it was packed. We went inside and surprisingly there was only one person in front of us. We brought Bailey's little pink bunny blanket to be in the picture with her.

She loved the Easter Bunny. I can't wait until next year when she screams when she see's the Easter Bunny. I am going to laugh my butt off. Before we left le mall, we decided to get Chinese food for lunch. It was delish. I'm glad we made that little detour.

When we got home, we put Bailey down for a nap and relaxed a bit. Derek played SmackDown vs Raw and I just sat here texting Holly and stuff. Bailey woke up, and I wanted the three of us to go sit outside for a bit.

We got our chairs set up, and set up Bailey's walker out there.... When we noticed the creepy neighbor girl staring at us... Then she kept saying "Here doggie. I want to hold you" to Bowtie. Of course, Derek and I told Bowtie she better not even think about it. We tried ignoring the creepy girl. Derek walked into our grass.... and he found a disgusting frog. It really freaked me out. I thought for sure I have never seen a frog in real life before but now I'm thinking otherwise because I've seen tadpoles... So I assume I've seen a frog. But anyways! Then I walked into the grass and I found a freaky frog! Derek told me they were probably friends or spouse frogs.... and it made me extremely sad that we separated them. I'm still a little sad about it.

The creepy girl was still being creepy. She dropped something in our yard then screamed. Then she kept saying "Here" and was sticking her arm through our fence to give Derek a weed. He finally grabbed it from her and I was glad. She was super irritating. Where were her parents? Who knows! We ended up getting sick of her, so we went inside.

We kept Bailey awake until 7:10PM and finally put her to bed. She was getting cranky.

I would have wrote a Blog yesterday but I didn't do anything too memorable.

Derek and I went to Wal Mart and then we went to Game Stop. Derek bought a game. We then went to Don Pancho and got Mexican food for lunch. It was delish. I was going to make chinese food for dinner but we were still full around dinner.

Today, Derek was home almost all day. He went into work around 1pm and came home at 5. We were going to go to WalMart right when he got home, but Bailey was napping so I decided I'd make Chinese food for dinner while we waited on her to wake up. Derek helped me with dinner. It was nice cooking with him again.

Bailey woke up when we were about to sit down and eat, so Daddy got her out of her crib and put her in her piano so we could eat. Since then we've been relaxing watching Daniel Tosh's Happy Thoughts. I get to watch my two loves cuddle on the couch. <3 It's an amazing feeling.

Bailey is growing up..

Yesterday Derek got out of his reintegration training early and didn't have to go back into work. So we decided we'd go out and spend time outside. I had a doctor's appointment so we went to that first. Afterwards, we went to Dairy Queen then the mall. Bailey was kind fussy but kind of not fussy.

We put her in the big girl stroller and she loved it! She loves being able to look out and see everything. I think we'll be putting her in there a lot more.

It was storming pretty bad last night. Derek and I woke up when they started doing the storm siren. We got out of bed and turned on the news and apparently Nashville was going to have it the worst, so we went back to bed.

When he woke up again at 6, and went to formation, he came home and told me that a lot of trees fell and such.

Today he's got some more stuff to do, so it'll just be Bailey and I for a few hours. I'm going to get off the computer and do some cleaning.

Today was a fairly uneventful day. Derek woke up at 6:30 AM to go to a stupid class that he doesn't even need to be at. He was home by 11 and we played with Bailey for a while. Then we decided to go to Wal Mart for a couple of things we've needed and to get Bailey some stuff for her Easter basket. Around 5, Derek and I took a nap in our bed, while Bailey took a nap in her bed. We woke up around 6:30 and Bailey was back in bed around 8. Since then Derek and I have been drinking some bullfrog and watching TV and relaxing. He has more training tomorrow but that's ok. At least he's usually home before noon.

He's home!!

Well on Thursday Derek landed in Nashville. Bailey and I went to pick him up at 10am-ish. It was amazing to see him holding his baby girl again. She's so fascinated by her Daddy. I think she remembers him. She didn't scream or cry. Just stare at him with her big blue eyes. We left the airport and went home for a bit. Relaxed. Then Derek went in to work to check in, so Bailey and I took a little nap.

Derek came back home and he asked what we were going to do, so we went to the Chevrolet dealer and bought a 2011 Chevy Cruze. I am in love with it! I have such an amazing husband. Thank you for my car, babybabe. Welllll.... After we got halfway to our house, I realized I didn't get the garage clicker out of it. So we were locked out. Needless to say, that night did not end well. I'm surprised Derek didn't want to kill me because of it. But, it's all okay. We got the clicker back.

Last night (15 April) Derek and I went on a date. Holly watched Bailey for us and we went to Olive Garden and had dinner. It was great. Then we went and saw Scream 4. There were a few parts that scared me and made me gasp. Derek was definitely making fun of me because of it. Then he let me drive home, so we did. We got here and Holly looked exhausted. I felt bad for asking her to watch Bailey so late.

Derek and I went to bed, woke up and here we are on Saturday. We're going to do some grocery shopping today then come home and clean up the house. It's been a great two days.

I will post another blog with pictures as soon as we take them. It's raining and crappy outside so once that clears up I'll post a picture of Penelope (Our new car. Get it? Penelope Cruze??)

Fillings.

I did a lot today. I went and got fillings at 1pm and they hurt like a bitch. I had a bunch of shots in my mouth. My tongue and half of my mouth was completely numb. It sucked. After that I made Holly get out of her house. We went and got smoothies, she went to the Class Six and got me Vodka then we went grocery shopping. I only got a few things. I went home and cleaned a lot. Derek sent me a text from his phone. I loved seeing his name on my caller ID. I missed hearing his voice. Tomorrow will be a good day.

Allergies.

Well, I ended up staying at Holly's house until 3am. I went home and got in bed. I woke up and started getting everything ready for Bailey, so we could go to her Doctor's appointment today. About an hour and a half before her appointment, I laid down on the couch for a quick nap. I woke up to a lawnmower. (I have glass doors and vertical blinds so I can see out of the door) and there was a guy mowing my lawn and another sitting on one of the chairs. It made me really nervous. Well.. it really scared me, actually. He saw me seeing him and jumped up and started working again. I ran into the other side of the house so they couldn't see me anymore. Well.. At least someone mowed my lawn.

Holly came over before Bailey's appointment and said she'd drive me there. Bailey weighs 14 pounds 5 ounces and is 25 inches long. We went back to the waiting room and there was a creepy ginger girl who had pink eye or some kind of disgusting ginger disease. She kept telling her Mom she wanted to "see the baby girl" (in reference to Bailey) and it made me really nervous/uncomfortable. I just kept staring at Holly. Finally the girl was basically drug away by her Mom and the ginger threw a fit. 

Bailey's doctor basically told me that she prescribes Zyrtec to babies as young as six months, but they want to try Saline and a nose sucker before giving her Zyrtec. Which sucks. Because she's currently screaming due to her allergies. And duh I use Saline. I do it whenever she gets stuffy or runny noses. So that made me a little mad. 

After that we went back to my place and Holly took Bailey to her house so I could do some errands. I had to go to Wal Mart again... to get the tire fixed.... again. I wasn't waiting too long then he came in and told me it was free and that he fixed it. Well, ok then. I was going towards Holly's and decided to get my eyebrows done. They were getting bad. Then I went to her place, sat there for like 5 minutes then decided Bailey and I would go home. So we did.

I looked out my front door because I'm expecting packages and I saw a really big Scentsy box and a smaller box. The Scentsy was my starter kit. It has a bunch of tester scents in it (which I looove!) and various different items. Then someone knocked on my door. I opened it and the mailman told me to open my garage that I had a few boxes and one was really big. I did, and two of the boxes were Derek's and two were mine. Once Scentsy box, one huge box and two smaller boxes. The Scentsy box contained a Zebra warmer and some Scentsy bars that I ordered. The other box (of mine) had an Easter basket in it, Derek's small box had some clothes in it, and his big box has a set of golf clubs in it! 

I fell asleep for a while. I think I'm just going to go back to bed though.

Rainy Day.

I woke up this morning with every intent to get things done. And I did... For the most part. My house is basically all cleaned up except for the fact that I need to sweep and mop the place. And do a few more loads of laundry and a few other small things. But it's all ready for Derek to be home. My plans for the day were to get my eyebrows done, go to McDonald's with Holly to meet her FRG leader, then just hang out at Holly's for the night. There won't be too many more nights that I'll be able to do this.

I decided I needed to make Bailey a doctor's appointment for her allergies. She definitely has her Mommy's allergies, and I feel so bad for my baby. She can't really breathe through her nose and keeps sneezing. She needs some relief from them. They're only going to get worse.

Holly came over and brought me a smoothie. I went outside with Bowtie and saw a huge worm. It was really gross and I freaked out. Then Holly came out there and touched it and that made me freak out even more. So gross. Then I followed her to the Beauty College so we could  get our eyebrows done.. Keep in mind... The rain is POURING down. So we got the baby out of the car, and got up there & some lady was out there and told us the college was closed on Monday's and asked what we needed. Then she laughed and walked away. Bitch. After that I went to Holly's apartment and dropped my car off, and we took her car to the McDonald's. After that we went back to her house and we've been sitting here since then... Attempting to play Mario. But we keep getting mad at the damn game.

OH. OH!!! And! Bailey was trying to kinda crawl tonight!! She's starting to push herself up when she's on her belly. Next thing I know, Derek and I are going to have a crawler!!!

APRIL 10TH!!!!!

I am so close to my husband being home it makes me SMILE. My heart melts when I think about it!!

Today was semi-productive. I did some more of Bailey's laundry, if that counts for anything. I spent most of the day playing with her & doing a lot for my Scentsy page. Considering how late I stayed up, I was fully functional. I took one short nap with Bailey this afternoon and didn't anymore after that. Once I get off of here and go do dishes / clean up a tad bit, I will go to bed and go to sleep. Goodnight, Everybody.

Scentsy

Last night Derek and I made a decision. I'm going to become a Scentsy Consultant. :) I'm really excited to do this & very motivated.

I woke up, fed the baby and Derek told me he was going to buy a day's worth of internet!!! I was so excited we'd be able to talk for another day. I did a lot of laundry, which was great! Then around noon or one, someone knocked on my door. It was a mailman and he wasn't leaving so I guess I had to sign for something. Which sucked because I was in shorts and Derek's DX shirt without a freaking bra. I opened the door and saw Derek's TV and Xbox laying there!!! :) He's going to be home pretty soon!!! I can't wait to welcome my Soldier home. I miss him.

His internet sucked because I guess it was raining in Afghanistan. And he was falling asleep anyways, so he must have been tired. I got off my computer and went into my bedroom and hooked up my new TV and Xbox! I was saddened to find that he sent me no games! The jerk! So I went to Game Stop and bought a few. Then I went and bought a dress and a few other things. I'm excited for Derek to come home. I am iffy about my dress so I hope he likes it. I picked out Bailey's outfit, as well. I LOOOVE the outfit picked. Photographer is hired. All we're waiting on is Daddy to get the heck out of Afghanistan!!!

Tonight I ended up joining the Scentsy-selling team. It's exciting. I made a fan page & a Scentsy personal website. I hope I can get this thing off the ground. :)

Shutdown.

While I'm worried about the shutdown, I shouldn't be. Derek and I figured out what we're going to do and I'm okay with that. But I don't think I see this Government shutdown lasting very long. So we'll see. They have 2 more hours to come up with a budget or we're all fucked. We're fucked anyways.

Holly came over and watched Bailey while I went to the opposite side of town. I was going to get Derek's shoes and a few other things. I went to 2 different shoe stores and neither of them had black high top Converse All Star shoes with white soles. Why??? That is as original as a freaking shoe comes. I was so pissed off. At the last store I was at, they told me that they can order them for me and it would save some money. I also got a military discount. I guess it was a little cheaper. They should be here in 3-5 business days. So, next Friday. I was angry.

I went to a few other stores then started coming home. I went through Gate 6 and almost hit some kid who decided to run out in front of my car. I slammed on my brakes and he stopped and just stared at me. Which made me really mad. Then he continued across the street. Where were this kids parents? Who knows. He was really little. There was a woman with a stroller. I kind of hope that wasn't his Mom because she apparently didn't even care that he almost got hit by a car.

Anyways. I'm going to clean up a little bit tonight. Do some laundry.

Boringggg.

I didn't do much today, however, I did get some of Bailey's laundry done. I'm going to fold it tonight. Ha. Holly came over sometime this afternoon and brought me her sweeper so I can clean the house. Bailey took a nap and around 3:30 I woke up to Holly asking if I wanted to go to see her FRG leader at Starbucks. So, I did. Bailey woke up and we got ready to go. We were there for about an hour. I like her FRG leader a shit load better than the skanks who are my FRG leaders. After that I enjoyed Paranormal Entity. I got online to talk to my love.  Again, no pictures. Lame sauce. I know. 

Absolutely....unproductive.

I didn't do anything, again. I spent today playing with Bailey. I was going to go do some errands but I didn't have the motivation to. Bailey and I ended up taking a nap together. So, I'll be wide awake tonight. I will probably work out and do some cleaning before I go to sleep. Sorry this is so boring but we didn't do anything. Also didn't take any pictures today..

I desperately need to find the motivation to deep clean my house. I probably talk about this every day. But my days of being a "single mom" are numbered.

Today I didn't do much. Holly sent me a message really early saying she took her dog to the vet to get his manhood taken from him. Poor guy. Around noon or so, she came over and brought us some smoothies. I can't wait until Derek gets home so we can become frequent buyers. He told me there are some Smoothie Kings (the place where we get them) in D.C. so that's really cool.

I was thinking about going to Dover, TN to go to Precious Scraps. It's a scrapbook store. I never went. Dover is an hour away and I didn't feel like going out that far today. Maybe once my ordered pictures come in, I can see how many pages and of what kinds I need before I go out there.

I talked to Derek for a while today. He was watching WrestleMania in the office. My poor babe. He stayed up late to watch it. I think it's funny how he stays up to watch WrestleMania but never stays up to talk to me!!! I love you too, babe. I'm joking. He'll be home soon and we can be up all night. (Bow chicka wow wow.) 


Around 8:00pm I gave Bailey a bath and she was out way before 8:30. Now Bowtie and I are laying here watching Dancing With the Stars. I don't know when my night will end. I hope earlier than usual. We're one more day closer to my husband being home. I want to watch the Hall of Fame ceremony but I decided against it tonight. Maybe when Derek gets home we'll watch it together.

I didn't do too much today. Bailey and I took a nap and then slept until noon. I was woken up to a creepy man's voice. It was post announcing that there was a tornado warning in effect. It realllllly scared me. I got up and realized it was noon and immediately got on the computer. I felt awful that Derek was texting me and I didn't hear my phone. We don't have much longer to talk before his internet runs out. 

Bailey took a long nap today. I had a feeling she would have a hard time sleeping tonight but she isn't really. 

We went to Holly's around 6 and Holly and I played Mario. It was fun/frustrating. It reminded me of when Derek and I would play it and we would fight. I can't wait until we are playing games together again. It's going to be fun. Sooooon he's going to be home. I can't wait.

I didn't do shit today. Tomorrow I'm really going to get back into the swing of things. I'm going to clean and work out. I need to get in shape. It's depressing being heavier than I should be. I hate seeing skinny skanks because it makes me want to massacre them. *Sigh* anyways. 

I bought WrestleMania XXVII tonight. Derek wanted me to, and I secretly wanted to watch it. I can't wait until Derek and I are rewatching it together. It started out with The Rock just talking and such and Bailey could not take her eyes off of him. She likes him. Thanks to her Daddy, Bailey's got wrestling in her blood. Haha. I decided to write this early because when it's over I'm going to send Derek an email or IM or something and go to bed. I need to get back on a regular, human schedule. I'm sure it will improve my mood, thus me being more energetic THUS me working out. Here's to hoping for some change. 

I went to WalMart to get some groceries and to get Bailey a couple of things.  On my way back to my house... I was pulled over by a freaking cop on Gate 7 road. I was going 50 and apparently that was speeding. I told him the last speed limit sign posted on Fort Campbell Blvd was 45 MPH and that I'd fight it if he gave me a ticket so he told me to "consider this my warning." He was probably bored and wanted to harass someone. Ass hole. 


WrestleMania. Triple H v. The Undertaker. I'll skip everything...
1. I thought chair shots to the head were banned. I am pretty sure I saw Triple H deliver one to 'Taker. 
2. This match is really killin' me. I thought it was over when Triple H Tomb stoned Undertaker... But it wasn't. Triple H went under the ring and got his weapon of choice. Le sledgehammer.  Undertaker put him in Hell's Gate, HHH dropped the hammer, and eventually..........Triple H tapped out........ I am so disappoited. Blah. After WrestleMania I'm going to bed. Blah blah blah.

Last night was rough. Bailey didn't want to go to sleep. I was so tired, I ended up pushing my bed against the wall so Bailey could sleep in bed with me. When I fell asleep, she was still awake. So, who knows when she really went to bed. We woke up and got online to talk to Derek. I felt bad.. We didn't talk too much and soon we won't have the chance to talk much. Bailey skipped her 4 o'clock nap, which made her even more grouchy. I was going to hang out with Holly, but not with the baby being in a bad mood. Maybe tomorrow it'll work out. Hopefully I'll feel like going out. I ended up cleaning the living room and kinda cleaned the kitchen. I felt accomplished. Looking at the living room and kitchen now you wouldn't even be able to tell.... Oh well. Better luck tomorrow. 

Bailey got an early Easter present from her Meema today. She sent her a few dresses since it's going to be getting warm her soon. They are really cute. I can't wait until Bailey is wearing them. Derek will think she's adorable in them. Bailey also has an Easter gift coming from her Grandma. 

Bailey's been in bed since 8. She got her bath and had a bottle and was EXHAUSTED by time I put her in her crib. Thank goodness she's asleep. Hopefully this girl stays in bed for the night.

Today. Was. Non-Productive. As usual. I woke up to a text from Derek asking me if the TV channel kept changing to USA. Bailey was awake anyways so I got up and made her a bottle. We sat down and turned on the TV and I turned on Nick Jr. Not even a few seconds later.... It was changed to USA! It really freaked me out. That's when he told me that he downloaded something to his iPod that can change the channel on the cable box! Jerk. He made Bailey really mad when he changed the channel. 


Derek turned on his webcam for a few seconds (stupid internet kept turning the webcam off and freezing it.) and someone has a little 'stache going on. It looked like a shadow so I wasn't sure. I was really surprised to see he can even grow that much facial hair. It makes me laugh. I can't wait to see him. 


He went to bed and Bailey and I kept on with our normal day. I did a small load of Bailey's laundry. Bowtie spent some time outside. Don't even want to get into what she did. 5 o'clock rolled around and I was sleepy so I ended up napping. Bailey woke me up a little later. We played, she had a bottle, and at 8:30ish she fell asleep. I decided I wanted to make muffins but I remembered that I still don't have vegetable oil. I found out that instead of vegetable oil, you can use natural apple sauce... Well, gosh. Fancy that! I have NATURAL APPLE SAUCE!! So I have blueberry muffins in the oven right now. Yummy.
